Last updated: 24 May 2026
1. Who we are
Tradeinvoicer is a billing administration service for UK tradespeople, operated by Tradeinvoicer Ltd (company number 17234014), registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE. Contact: hello@tradeinvoicer.co.uk
2. The service
Tradeinvoicer provides an online billing administration service that lets tradespeople create invoices and estimates, share them with customers, and collect payments. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice. We will notify active paying subscribers by email before making any material changes.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your PIN secure. Do not share it. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old and operating a legitimate UK business to use this service. You agree to provide accurate information when signing up and to keep it up to date.
4. Free trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. The trial period begins on the date you send your first invoice, not your signup date. No payment card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, continued access requires an active subscription.
5. Subscription and payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Current pricing:
- Standard: £19/month
- Founding member: £9.99/month (locked in for life, limited to the first 10 subscribers)
Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry automatically. After repeated failed attempts your subscription will be cancelled and your account moved to read-only mode. You can resubscribe at any time.
6. Your data
We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you enter into Tradeinvoicer (client names, invoice content, etc.). We do not sell or share it. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Tradeinvoicer to:
- Issue fraudulent or misleading invoices
- Engage in any activity that is unlawful under UK law
- Attempt to access or interfere with other users' accounts or data
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms without refund.
8. Intellectual property
The Tradeinvoicer application, design, and content are owned by Tradeinvoicer Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
9. Limitation of liability
Tradeinvoicer is a tool to help you manage your invoicing. It is not a legal, accounting, or tax advisory service. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your invoices and compliance with HMRC requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tradeinvoicer Ltd's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the total subscription fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@tradeinvoicer.co.uk. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, are subject to fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period (free trial accounts only). We will give reasonable notice where possible.
11. Right to cancel
Tradeinvoicer is a business-to-business service used by tradespeople in the course of their trade. Where the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into a subscription contract without giving any reason.
By starting your free trial and using the service immediately, you acknowledge that the service has commenced within the 14-day cancellation period. If you exercise your right to cancel after the service has begun, you may be charged for the period of use up to the point of cancellation. To cancel, email hello@tradeinvoicer.co.uk.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
