Who we are

Tradeinvoicer is a billing administration service for UK tradespeople, operated by Tradeinvoicer Ltd (company number 17234014), registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE. Contact: hello@tradeinvoicer.co.uk

What data we hold

We hold two categories of data:

Account data (your business)

• Business name
• Hashed PIN (not recoverable in plain text)

Client data (your customers)

• Client name
• Phone number (optional)
• Address (optional)
• Invoice and estimate records (line items, totals, dates, status)
• Digital signatures (stored as image data against an invoice)

Why we hold it

We hold this data solely to provide the invoicing service you have contracted us to operate. We do not use it for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the service.

Where data is stored

All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon (AWS EU West 2, London, United Kingdom). The application is hosted on Vercel (European region where available). Data does not leave the UK or EU.

How long we keep it

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you close your account, we delete all associated data within 30 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (right to erasure)
• Export your data in a portable format

Third parties

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. Infrastructure providers (Neon, Vercel) process data as data processors under contractual obligations consistent with UK GDPR.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. It contains no personal data — only an encrypted session identifier. No tracking or analytics cookies are used.
